If You're A Visitor

With everything from arts & antiques to a world-famous zoo, The Bronx is a must-see destination when you visit New York City. The Bronx Tourism Council's information line (718-590-BRONX), and this web site provide a checklist of places you won't want to miss. Additionally, "Where To Eat In The Bronx" highlights the borough's most popular restaurants.

The information in this web site will help you get to and around The Bronx like a native. Or see our listing of tour operators offering regularly-scheduled bus tours of The Bronx.

When planning your visit, also be sure to check out our calendar of events on this web site, and see what's taking place when you're in town. If you're planning a visit in June or October, call our office for information on Bronx Week and Tour de Bronx, respectively. These two events, produced by The Bronx Tourism Council for the office of Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, are exceptionally good ways to get to know The Bronx.

Whenever you come to visit, you'll understand why Bronx native Robert Klein sings, "The Bronx Is Beautiful This Time of Year."
