This exhibition features forty-nine prints, paintings, and drawings from the Museum’s permanent collection by twentieth and twenty-first-century artists working in a range of modernist styles—from figurative to abstract. These twenty-one artists explore stories and characters from the Bible, represent Jewish observances and traditions, or take inspiration from language and legend. Many of the artists express their Jewish identities and relationships to Jewish communal experience through their work.

Explore your own balance through a variety of poses and postures during a guided garden walk with guest educator Corinne Flax. After the walk, float peacefully on a river of breath and movement during a balance-inspired yoga flow.

Given that the snow has melted and our streets and sidewalks are in dire need of cleaning, we are hosting a large volunteer cleanup event on Saturday, March 28, at 10:00am sharp.

The New York City Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be hosting the Fordham Out of the Darkness walk. The Out of the Darkness Walks are about raising crucial funds and creating a safe space for those impacted by suicide. At the event there will be an area to share messages of hope and remembrance as well as share beads reflective of once experience with suicide.
