TORCHED! – THE CONCERT is a powerful musical performance of Pregones/PRTT’s acclaimed theater production exploring the complex legacy of the Bronx fires of 1970s New York.
Pulsing to the beat of salsa, funk, disco, and hip-hop, TORCHED! transports audiences between 1970s New York—when the fires gripped headlines—and the present-day journey of survival and rebuilding.

Our 2026 theme, Dream Big, Stay Rooted, is a call to action to aim for the stars while honoring and staying grounded in your heritage. To amplify this message, the Festival line-up includes music, art and dance forms from homegrown Latin Jazz, Mambo and Salsa to Afro Cuban HipHop.

Presented by the Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA), Palladium Style! Celebrating the Golden Era of Dance is a free, family-friendly festival honoring the musicians and dancers who revolutionized the Latin dance craze of the 1950s.
From mambo, cha-cha, salsa, merengue, and pachanga, the festival will feature a live band performing music by Tito Puente, Tito Rodríguez, and Machito (“The Big Three”), along with professional dancers paying tribute to trailblazers Millie Donay, Carlos “ChaCha Taps” Arroyo, and Carmen Cruz.
Festival guests can also participate in dance demos, a Latin-themed arts workshop, and kid-friendly games and activities.

Get your hands messy making candles while munching on tacos, sipping on cocktails and chilling after work vibes every month!

A lively celebration that brings together Spanish-language authors, illustrators, and families for a day of storytelling, creative workshops, book signings, and cultural performances. Face painting and snacks provided.
