The Bronx Museum is currently accepting artwork submissions from teen artists based in any of the five boroughs of NYC for an exhibition this spring curated by participants in the Museum’s Teen Council — a paid internship for high school students focused on contemporary art and the museum space.

As part of our Lifelong Studio program of free art-making classes for adults 55 and older, The Bronx Museum is offering an 8-week beginner-friendly bookmaking workshop

Join us for our first Spring Fling Speed Networking Event on Wednesday, April 30 at the Commonpoint Bronx Center! There will be food and drinks, opportunities to network, icebreaker games, and more!

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00AM or 1:30PM, enjoy delicious tea sandwiches and delectable pastries with a specialty tea selection served on our Kate French Terrace, weather permitting, or in our quaint Tea Room at the historic Wave Hill House. Provided by our exclusive partner Great Performances, the menu uses local and seasonal ingredients, inspired from their own organic farm, Katchkie Farm. Due to the nature of the event, no substitutions or changes are available.

Join us on Thursday, May 1st, for an LGBTQIA+ affirming Community Social as we come together in celebration, solidarity, and pride ahead of the launch of Bronx Week 2025!

The Bronx Walk of Fame is a 23-block stretch of the Grand Concourse lined with “street signs” celebrating some of the borough’s greats — like Colin Powell, Chazz Palminteri, Rita Moreno and over one hundred more. Wear your walking shoes and join us for a 90-minute walk along the Walk of Fame and discover historical sites along the way. Bring a camera to snap a shot under your favorite Bronx celebrity’s sign!

The Bronx Museum stays open late on the first Friday of the month so you can experience art after dark! Check out the interactive exhibition Working Knowledge and enjoy music, poetry, and dancing as well as complimentary light refreshments.

Bronx Community College will host the 47th annual Run the Bronx, a community health event that includes 10K & 5K runs, and a 2-mile fitness walk.
